One of the highlights was undoubtedly the 50th Matjeswochen (Matjes season festitivities) in June. In addition, there was a colourful and multifaceted programme including exhibitions, concerts, art installations, readings, sport events, etc.<\/p>\n<p>There is much to explore since numerous locations and monuments still tell the story of the crucial events and defining moments in our town\u2019s 400-year history.<\/p>\n<p>We would like to welcome you to join in when we present our town and its fascinating history.
