Due to its tidal conditions, sandbanks, islands and the sometimes rough weather, this area is among the most demanding but also the most beautiful water sports areas in Germany.<\/p>\n<p>River branches, tidal gullies and sleepy harbours are the perfect mixture for a relaxed trip on the Elbe. For all sailing enthusiasts, we recommend a sailing tour on the \u2018Rigmor von Gl\u00fcckstadt\u2019, Germany\u2019s oldest sailing ship still in operation.<\/p>\n<div>\n<p>Nature lovers can explore the Elbe and the surrounding landscape during a trip on the flat-bottomed boat \u2018Tidenkieker\u2019. The trips run all throughout the year from Gl\u00fcckstadt\u2019s outer harbour.<\/p>\n<p>The historic boat \u2018Ewer Gloria\u2019 has its home port at the Kr\u00fcckau harbour in Elmshorn.
